im assuming that you mean religion law and government should not always be separated since government makes all laws . we believe to have government in religious issues at all even a little bit is dangerous . we Americans are very cautious that government does not get too much power and too much influence over our lives and personal decisions in life ( free will ) we believe that government should have very little influence in these things . our government has already taken more power than was given to it thats why these freedoms that we have left we are so protective over and we do not want government to touch them at all .

in this country we have separation of church and state so our government cannot make any laws that involve religion . if it could make laws that involve religion which religious view is right and which is wrong ? no man should make this decision for another man . humans must be free to decide for themselves , they should be free to blasphemy if they so choose and God will judge the choices that they make . life on this earth is absolutely a test of each human .

Do not take away from God what He has given . religion is mixed with politics and therefore can be corrupted . religion has OFTEN been corrupted by evil men in power . this is why we believe government and laws should be separate from religion because humans are corrupt and laws can become oppressive and corrupt easily . religion is one thing we should not be forced to obey and there cannot be any laws that influence religion at all . church and government must always be separate .

They Americans neither should nor will "make law on religious comment." It's against their constitution do so.

No blasphemy against the Muslim religion and within months there'd be no blasphemy against the Christian religion either. Time we dumped that Vatican bunch into the sea and shared their wealth out amongst the poor they love so much!

The intent of that movie was not to insult the prophet or the religion of Islam. The intent was to provoke the poor, the dispossessed and the extreme of Islam to violence. Insulting the prophet and the religion was the means they used to do that and they succeeded.

An insult is only an insult if you allow it to be.
It has no effect or bite beyond what you allow.
Ignore it as beneath your dignity and it becomes an unheard rant in the dark.
